Another LOPAR may form around Oct 10; Cyclone Jawad likely
Bhubaneswar : One more Low Pressure area is very likely to form over north Andaman Sea around October 10, said the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
According to the IMD’s latest bulletin, it is likely to become more marked and move west northwestwards towards south Odisha & north coastal Andhra Pradesh coast during the subsequent 4-5days.
While the system is likely to cross the coast around October 15, the system may approach Visakhapatnam-Kakinada coasts, as per the ECMWF model.
If the system intensifies into a cyclonic storm, it will be named as Cyclone Jawad.
