Balasore : After the Odisha Crime Branch took over the case of Parlakhemundi ACF Soumya Ranjan Mohapatra notable developments have been marked. Odisha Crime Branch today arrived at his residence in Balasore to record family members’ statement.
A four-member team of Crime Branch has arrived at deceased Soumya’s native Khaira residence of Balasore to record statement of family members.
The Crime Branch team will be interrogating his wife Bidya Bharati tomorrow. Two lady officers from the Crime Against Women and Children Wing (CAW&CW) of Odisha Police will assist the Crime Branch team for the interrogation.
The Crime Branch team has already interrogated 14 persons in Paralakhemundi in the said case. The investigation also included recording of statements, verification of different documents, CDR analysis, analysis of the investigation report of Gajapati Police and detail analysis of the case, informed Crime Branch ADG Sanjeev Panda.
