Cuttack’s Silver filigree gets GI tag, state government begins preps

Cuttack, Jul 6 :  The GI tag in Cuttack’s Silver Filigree craft can be found soon. Demand for this specialty has grown significantly as a result of recent corporate scandals. The state government has begun the process. With numerous world-class craftsmanship, this GI tag will benefit, craftsmen and inturn enhance employment opportunities.

The state government has started preparations for getting the GI tag of the Silver Filigree. The OSIC has formally applied for recognition. The Filigree artisan welcomed the government’s efforts.
