Bhubaneswar, Dec 19: The Special Task Force (STF) of the Crime Branch busted an illegal gun racket on Sunday with the arrest of a person and seizure of eight country made pistols from him in Chhendipada area of Angul district.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of the STF in association with District police conducted a raid near Kerjang under Chhendipada police limits and arrested a person. They seized eight illegal country made pistols , seven ammunitions and some incriminating materials from him.
Police identified the accused as Ratnakar Kalta of Sarapali in Sambalpur.
