Delhi Court sends two Pak-trained terror operatives to 14-day custody
New Delhi : A Delhi Court on Tuesday ordered 14 days police custody to two accused arrested, in connection with the case related to Pakistan-ISI coordinated and organized terror module that has been closely managed by underworld don Dawood Ibrahim’s brother Anees Ibrahim.
Delhi Police after arresting the two terror suspects– Zeeshan Qamar from Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, and Mohammad Amir Javed from Lucknow, UP, produced them before the Patiala House Court, New Delhi.
Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Pankaj Sharma after hearing the plea on behalf of the Police, passed an order to remand the two terror suspects to 14 days police custody.
According to police, they were trained in Pakistan and were working under the instructions of the ISI to operate the terror plot and were task to reconnaissance of different suitable locations in Delhi and UP for placing IEDs for the blast.
Delhi Police has submitted that six persons including Jaan Mohammad Seikh (47) of Maharashtra, Osama (22) alias Sami of Jamianagar, Delhi, Moolchand alias Lala (47) of Raebareli, UP, Zeeshan Qamar (28) of Prayagraj, UP, Md Abu Bakar (23), Bahraich,UP and Mohammad Amir Javed (31) of Lucknow, UP have been arrested in this case and four of them were earlier remanded to 14 days police custody as per order of the court.
Police further submitted that after analysing human and technical inputs, it was observed that the terror network is spread over several states and cities in India. This is a Pakistan-coordinated and organized module, police stated.
They said the arrested persons were likely to target states like Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra and imported weapons, Italian Pistols firearms, ammunition and explosives were recovered from the arrested persons.
