Sahibganj : In connection with the death case Sub Inspector Rupa Tirkey the sleuths of
the CBI grilled Pankaj Mishra who is the MLA representative of Chief Minister Hemant Soren for
nearly three hours.
Later Mishra said he had give factual replies and whenever the CBI will call him for questioning he
will be coming for the same.
He said that truth in connection with murder of Rupa Tirkey should come out in open. The CBI
had served a notice to Pankaj Mishra on Tuesday for questioning.
It is for the first time that in this case Pankaj Mishra has been questioned. The family members
of the late police officer have also blamed Pankaj Mishra in the suicide case.
The CBI had on Wednesday questioned batch mate of the late police officer Shiv Kumar Kanaujia
in the case. For nearly 5-6 hours Kanujia was questioned in the Sahibganj jail by the officers of the agency.
A police officer of 2018 batch sub Inspector Rupa Tirkey who was posted as officer incharge for women police station of Sahebganj was found hanging inside her official quarter on May 3, 2021.
In this connection police has only arrested her batch mate Shiv Kumar Kanujia on the charges of abetment of suicide.
