Panelists Ask World Leaders To Force Pakistan To End Genocidal Acts On Holocaust Remembrance Day

Jammu, Jan 27  : To commemorate International Holocaust Remembrance Day; a webinar was organized by Jammu Kashmir Unity Foundation on Thursday in which the panelists condemned the rogue state of Pakistan for perpetuating continued Genocide of not only minorities but various sects of Muslims through State and non state actors. The panelists in unison demanded from the world leaders to force Pakistan to end its Genocidal acts. The webinar organized by JK Unity Foundation under the aegis of Association for SEED was attended by Prof Sajjad Raja, Chairman National Equality Party JK Gilgit Baltistan, Arti Agarwal, Researcher and Author, Pt. Satish K Sharma, Author, Amjad Ayub Mirza, Human Rights Activist from Pakistan Occupied Kashmir, Ankur Sharma, Chairman IkkJutt Jammu, Dr. Mahesh Koul, Author and Researcher, Ajaat Jamwal, President and Dr. Gopal Parthasarthi Sharma, General Secretary JKUF.
The programme started with paying homage to all the victims of genocide in the world. Prof. Sajjad Raja narrated the horrifying details of 1947 Genocide in then Princely state of Jammu and Kashmir by Pakistan army and stressed for an International response to the still continuing genocide in the Indian sub-continent and elsewhere.
Arti Agarwal gave a power point presentation about the continuity of Hindu genocide in the Indian sub-continent from a historical perspective and also talked about the present documentation of the ongoing genocides. Dr. Amjad Ayub Mirza said that Pakistan wiped out the whole minority Hindu-Sikh population from Pakistan Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and proved that the Hindu genocide in the region is much more severe than the jewish genocide at the hands of German Nazis. Satish K Sharma offered an altogether different perspective on the issue as he stressed for Gyan Shakti, Iccha Shakti and Kriya Shakti to rest the ongoing genocide in the Indian sub continent.
Ankur Sharma, Advocate highlighted the inability and lack of will on part of Indian government to understand the dynamics of genocide and to take corrective measures especially the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir which has been the epicenter of Hindu genocides for centuries and now with the active connivance of Pakistan. Dr. Mahesh Koul spoke at length about the Kashmiri Pandit genocide and warned the government to take timely action to identify and punish the perpetrators of such genocides.
Dr. Gopal Parthasarthi Sharma stressed upon the world community led by the United Nations must recognize every genocide and provide a platform that can ensure non-recurrence of genocides in the modern world. Chairman JKUF, Ajaat Jamwal said that it has been the endeavour of the JKUF to bring together the victims of various genocides on International Holocaust Remebrance day so that they can narrate the experiences and knowledge so that more and more people join the initiative to end the menace.
