Delhi’s air quality continues to be ‘very poor’
New Delhi, Dec 7: Delhi’s air quality continued to remain in the ‘very poor’ category on Tuesday, the Centre-run System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting and Research (SAFAR) data showed.
According to the SAFAR, the overall Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded at 314.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD), in its forecast, said the air quality is likely to improve and remain in poor to moderate category in the next two days.
As per the weather department, the minimum temperature was recorded at 11.4 degree Celsius, two notches above normal on Tuesday.
The IMD said the sky will remain clear and the maximum temperature is likely to settle at 24 degree Celsius.
