Properties Worth Lakhs Gutted As Massive Blaze Engulfs Daily Market In Keonjhar

Over 50 shops were reduced to ashes as a major fire broke out at the daily market in Odisha’s Keonjhar town on Monday morning. Properties worth lakhs of rupees were destroyed in the fire mishap.

According to reports, the cause of the fire is suspected to be a short circuit. On being informed, the fire brigade team reached the spot and tried to douse the flames as soon as possible.

Some of the locals alleged that delay in arrival of the Fire Services personnel caused more damage to the shops.
