‘Anushka Sharma’s sacrifices have been massive’ says Virat Kohli, calls her an inspiration
Anushka Sharma has been blissfully married to Indian cricketer Virat Kohli for over 5 years now. Virat and Anushka embraced parenthood as they welcomed their daughter Vamika in January 2021.
They have been keeping her away from the limelight, but often share cute glimpses of the time they spend with her, on Instagram. Without revealing Vamika’s face, Anushka and Virat often give fans glimpses of the quality time they spend with her. Recently, Virat shared that Anushka Sharma has made a lot of sacrifices in the past two years, and that she is an inspiration for him.

In his interviews, the cricketer has always been vocal about his wife Anushka’s contributions to changing him as a cricketer and human being. In a recent RCB podcast with Danish Sait, Virat opened up about the sacrifices that his wife Anushka has made as a mother. Kohli also admitted that he has been inspired by his ladylove.
Reflecting upon his tough time during the past two years in terms of his career, Virat Kohli said, “The way things have been in the past two years, we have had our child and, as a mother, the sacrifices that she made have been massive. Looking at her, I realised whatever problems I had were nothing. As far as expectations are concerned, as long as your family loves you for who you are, you don’t expect much because that is the basic requirement. ”

Praising his wife, he said that Anushka has been a huge inspiration for him and he has changed for the better ever since he fell in love with her. Virat mentioned that his life had a completely different perspective earlier, but then after falling for Anushka, he started processing changes with him.
Virat shared that Anushka’s outlook towards life was different, and it changed him for the better and he became more accepting of things.
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Anushka Sharma will soon be seen in Chakda Xpress, in which she will be seen essaying the role of cricketer Jhulan Goswami. She was last seen in the 2018 film Zero. She also recently had a cameo in the song Ghode Pe Sawaar from Netflix film Qala, which released in December 2022.
