Patna, Jan 30 : Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar reiterated that he will accept death but will not go with the BJP anymore.
After paying tribute to the father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat here on Monday Nitish Kumar told newspersons that he would accept his death instead of going with BJP and dubbed the speculations about him for again going with BJP as bogus.
Earlier BJP in its state executive held here on Sunday had resolved that the party would never enter into any kind of alliance with Nitish Kumar and Janata Dal (U).
Pointing towards Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav, the Chief Minister said that while remaining with us, the BJP unnecessarily implicated Tejaswi’s father (Lalu Prasad Yadav) and others in the case.
He said that now when he is with RJD after getting rid of the cases the BJP was again trying to implicate them.
Kumar said that BJP has changed a lot and the former leadership of the party too was of the similar opinion.
The CM said that he was a supporter of Atal-Adwani but with the dominance of new incumbents, the party has changed into a new form. The new leadership of the party was changing everything in the country which all were meaningless.
The Chief Minister said that after coming to power in 2005 he worked in the interest of both Hindus and Muslims following which a decisive chunk of the minorities started to vote for them and BJP was also aware of this fact.
Commenting upon BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi Nitish Kumar said that the person whom BJP did not confer any post was speaking a lot about him. Kumar further said that he was not contending for any post.
