Mumbai, Nov 12 : The Bombay High Court has adjourned till November 25 the hearing of an Enforcement Directorate (ED) plea seeking cancellation of the bail granted to Shiv Sena Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Raut for money laundering.
Justice Bharati Dangre on Friday also asked Raut to file an affidavit in reply.
The court, however, permitted the ED to amend its application as the order of the special court that granted bail to Raut. The matter will be next heard on November 25.
Apart from Raut, the agency has also challenged the bail granted to co-accused Pravin Raut,
Additional Solicitor General Anil Singh told the court that the special court while granting the bail has made certain remarks which has affected the functioning of the agencyÛ”
