NCP Meet Tuesday In Mumbai

Mumbai, Jul 11: The Nationalist Congress Party will meet here on Tuesday to discuss upcoming local body elections and overall political situation in Maharashtra, it was announced here on Monday.

NCP chief spokesperson of the state Mahesh Tapase said in a statement that an important meeting of NCP will be held under the chairmanship of party supremo Sharad Pawar at Yashwantrao Chavan Pratishthan on July 12 , in which there will be discussions on upcoming local body elections and the overall political situation in the state.

The meeting will be attended by state party president Jayant Patil, Leader of Opposition Ajit Pawar, senior leader Chhagan Bhujbal and other party leaders, office-bearers and district presidents, among others.

Then, a meeting of NCP Mumbai division will be held on July 13 at the same venue, he added.
