Nuapada: 3 Jawans Martyred In Maoist Ambush; Govt. Announces Ex-Gracia

Bhubaneswar, June 21: As many as 3 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel were martyred in an Maoist ambush at Patadhara reserve forest under Nuapada’s Boden block on Tuesday. Odisha Govt. has announced an ex-Gracia of 20 Lakh each to the diseased Jawan’s family.

Seven other CRPF personel were also injured in the attack. The number of martyr and injured are supposed to be increasing.

As per reports the security personnel were in a transit from one camp to another when the armed ultras opened fire at them.

Meanwhile, DPG Sunil Kumar Bansal expressed deep condolences to the bereaved families. He stated that operations would continue in the area to track down the Maoist and the supreme sacrifice of the Martyrs would not go in vain.
