Kandhamal’s conjoined twins’ family blessed with a baby girl; names her ‘Subhadra’

Kandhamal: Following conjoined twin Jaga’s demise the family experienced a dark shade of life. But finally happiness has knocked their doors as the family welcomed a baby girl recently and named the neonate “Subhadra”.

His mother Puspanjali Kanhar delivered a baby girl at the District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) in Phulbani on August 7.

Jaga, his father Bhuan Kanhar, and others seemed elated to welcome the new member.

Notably, Jaga-Kalia had been separated on October 25, 2017, after a marathon surgery that lasted around 11 hours at AIIMS, New Delhi.

However, Kalia passed away on November 26, 2020, due to septicemia and shock. Jaga is currently under observation at the District Headquarters Hospital in Phulbani.
