New Delhi, March 24: Indraprastha Gas Limited on Thursday hiked the price of domestic piped natural gas (PNG) in Delhi by Re 1 standard cubic meter (SCM). The new price will come into effect from Thursday. In Delhi, PNG will cost Rs 36.61 per unit while in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad it will cost Rs 35.86 per SCM.
In Gurugram it will cost Rs 34.81 per SCM. The increase has come on the heels of a hike in petrol and diesel prices. Petrol and diesel prices were hiked by 80 paise on two consecutive days on March 22 and 23, 2022. Petrol in Delhi costs Rs 97.01 per litre while a litre of diesel is available at Rs 88.27. UN
