Malik’s Judicial Custody Extended Till April 4
Mumbai, March 21: A Special Enforcement Directorate (ED) court on Monday extended the judicial custody of Maharashtra Minority Minister Nawab Malik till April 4 for alleged involvement in money laundering.
Extending the custody, the court granted Malik’s plea to provide a bed, mattress and chair considering his health problems.
Malik was arrested by ED earlier this month. Meanwhile, the Maharashtra Cabinet has declined to accept his resignation in its meeting despite being pressed to do so by BJP leaders.
