Panaji, March 4: A day after Congress accused Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of tapping phones of its leaders and candidates, Goa Chief Minister on Friday claimed that BJP will get a clear mandate to form the next government in the state. ”With blessings of the people, BJP will get a clear mandate to form the next Govt in Goa,” he tweeted.
Criticising the Congress, he said the opposition party should focus on taming its own candidates on whom it has no control rather than making frivolous allegations. “Congress appears to have no faith in their candidates, which is compelling them to create dramas to divert the attention of the people. Rather than making frivolous allegations, the Goa Congress President needs to focus on taming his own candidates on whom he has no control,” he said in another tweet. The Congress on Thursday had alleged that BJP was tapping phones of its leaders to come back to power.
