Ishan, Shahrukh Added To India ODI Squad
Ahmedabad, Feb 5 : Ishan Kishan and Shahrukh Khan have been added to India’s ODI squad for the first game against the West Indies to be played on Sunday. India white-ball captain Rohit Sharma at the virtual press conference confirmed that Ishan will open the batting with him. The All-India Senior Selection Committee added Ishan and Shahrukh on the eve of the first game after three players were tested positive for Covid-19 on February 2. Shikhar Dhawan, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Shreyas Iyer are the three batters who are in isolation. The BCCI had earlier added Mayank Agarwal to the ODI team, but he will not be available for the first game as he is still in quarantine. The three-match ODI series will be held at the Narendra Modi Stadium. The updated India ODI squad for first game: Rohit Sharma (c), Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Deepak Hooda, Rishabh Pant (wk), Deepak Chahar, Shardul Thakur, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Washington Sundar, Ravi Bishnoi, Mohd. Siraj, Prasidh Krishna, Avesh Khan, Ishan Kishan, Shahrukh Khan. The first match will begin at 1:30 PM IST.
