Cold Wave Will Continue For The Next 4 Days: IMD Odisha
Bhubaneswar: The night temperature is falling in Odisha. Cold is increasing in various parts of the state. Intense cold is being felt in various places with dense fog. The Meteorological Department has predicted that cold wave will continue in the state for the next 4 days. Similarly, an alert has been issued regarding dense fog. There is a possibility of moderate fog in Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Bargarh, Kandhamal and Kalahandi.
The current night temperature is 1 to 2 degrees higher than normal. The mercury in Udayagiri has dropped to the lowest level of 7.2 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature in Phulbani was 10.5 degrees Celsius, while 11.5 degrees Celsius was recorded in Daringbadi.
Similarly, the temperature in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack was 16.08 degrees. On the other hand, 12.2 degrees were recorded in Rourkela, 12.4 in Jharsuguda, 13 in Bhawanipatna, 14 in Keonjhar and Sundergarh, 14.5 in Nabarangpur, 14.9 in Bolangir and Dhenkanal, 15.1 in Sonepur, and 15.4 degrees in Nayagarh.
