Weather Forecast: Light Rain Alert For Odisha
Bhubaneswar: Due to the low pressure area in the Bay of Bengal, light rainfall is likely to occur in six districts of the state in the next 24 hours. The districts are Puri, Ganjam, Gajapati, Rayagada, Koraput and Malkangiri. The Bhubaneswar Regional Meteorological Center has predicted that rainfall will occur in one or two places in these districts.
On the other hand, the minimum temperature has decreased to some extent in one or two places in north interior Odisha, while there has been no significant change in the temperature in other places. In addition, the regional meteorological centre has predicted that the weather will remain mainly dry for the next 7 days.
Temperatures are being recorded above normal in most places in interior Odisha, while one or two places are below normal.
The outbreak of winter may increase in the state after the 16th. On Wednesday, except for one or two places in Koraput, Malkangiri, Rayagada, Gajapati and Ganjam districts, the weather will remain mostly dry in other places. There will be no significant change in the weather till the 16th. After this, the temperature in the state may drop by 2 to 4 degrees Celsius, said Manorma Mohanty, Director of the Bhubaneswar Regional Meteorological Centre.
