Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Health Department has changed the dress code of nurses. The decision in this regard has been taken by the Health Department. This decision has been taken after discussions with the Odisha Nursing Employees Association.
While the dress code for Senior Nursing Officers is light Purple, the dress code for Assistant Nursing Superintendent is Blue.
Similarly, the dress code for Deputy Nursing Superintendent/Nursing Superintendent is white. It has been decided that nurses on duty in the General Ward will wear white aprons. The uniform collar of the Nursing Officers will have Sambalpuri touch.
