Odisha Revenue Minister Said On Revenue Law

Bhubaneswar: People who are visiting all tehsil and sub-registrar offices in the state can register their opinions and reactions. Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari on Friday directed to make necessary arrangements for this. He also expressed hope that if the revenue law is made easy, simple and people-oriented, various problems of the people can be resolved soon.

Minister Pujari also suggested that mutation cases in tehsils in the state be corrected within a specified time limit and the names of the people on lease should be corrected. Revenue Minister clarified that the government will take back the government land given to various institutions in the form of lease if they do not use it properly.

He suggested that vacant posts in the revenue department be filled, residence, caste and other certificates be provided within a specified time limit.
