Cuttack: The newly appointed DCP of Cuttack IPS Jagmohan Meena took charge of office on Tuesday, said reliable reports. He is a 2013 batch IPS cadre. Earlier, Jagmohan was working as Ganjam SP. He took over from outgoing DCP Prakash R.
Cuttack DCP Jagmohan Meena interacted with the media after taking charge. He said, “as the festive season has started, emphasis will be placed on law and order. We will try to improve the behaviour of the police in the police station. In this regard, emphasis will be given on increased soft skill training. Efforts will be made to reduce police response time. My official phone number along with WhatsApp number will be circulated among common people. A list of professional criminals will be prepared and they shall be closely monitored. Special emphasis will be given to the protection of women.”
Meena further concluded by saying that he is very happy to have the opportunity to serve in the culturally rich city of Cuttack.
