Bhubaneswar: In the Bharatpur army major assault case, the retired army officer or victim’s father has also met the Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi including the major and his fiancé. The ex-army man met the Chief Minister and expressed his words to the media.
Responding to the media, he said, “We thank the Chief Minister for giving us time to meet with our request. Two days ago, police officers in uniform protested whether the investigation would be impartial. So we demanded a judicial inquiry. The Chief Minister has accepted our demand. He also said that he is confident that the truth will be revealed in the investigation report after the discussion with the Chief Minister.”
“Besides, those who are sharing the video of the girl on social media will be identified and strict action will be taken”, he further added.
The girl always returns home at night as she runs a restaurant. Therefore, his father has demanded the Chief Minister to solve this problem. The Chief Minister has also taken it seriously.
In this discussion Deputy Chief Minister KV Singhdeo, Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari were also present when they met the Chief Minister at Lok Seva Bhavan. The Chief Minister ordered a judicial inquiry into the incident late last night.
