Talcher: Vigilance raids at the house of the Deputy Director of Mines. Vigilance has raided the house of Deputy Director of Mines Dharinidar Nayak. Raids are going on in 8 places on the allegation of evasion of non-income assets. Raid is going on in 4 places of Keonjhar, Telakoi and Talcher.
Similarly, raids are going on in Bhubaneswar’s Patia. Dharanidhar’s Talcher residence, paternal house in Chhamunda village of Telakoi, father-in-law’s house in Keonjhar Pandapada have been raided simultaneously at 8 places. The Deputy Director of Mines was accused of misappropriating assets. The vigilance probed the incident and conducted a raid this morning.
There were allegations against him that he was taking money from him by favoring Dharanidha’s youth mafia and stone mafia. 10 DSPs, 16 inspectors, 7 SIs and ASIs and other officers are involved in the raid.
