This is the Lord Ram Statue for the Grand Consecration Ceremony in Ayodhya
Ayodhya: In anticipation of the highly anticipated consecration ceremony of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, Union Minister Pralhad Joshi has revealed the statue of Lord Ram that will be installed at the revered site. Crafted by renowned sculptor Yogiraj Arun, the idol holds immense cultural and religious significance for the nation.
In a social media post, Minister Pralhad Joshi shared a photograph of Yogiraj alongside the finalized idol of Lord Rama. Yogiraj Arun, a celebrated sculptor in the country, has meticulously crafted the idol that will be the focal point of the Prana Pratishtapana ceremony in Ayodhya. The unveiling of the idol marks a crucial step in the lead-up to the consecration ceremony scheduled for January 22.

The consecration ceremony of Ayodhya Ram Nadir is set to take place at 12:20 pm on January 22. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has encouraged people to light special ‘diyas’ in their homes on this day, akin to celebrating Diwali. The Prime Minister’s appeal reflects the significance of the event, emphasizing the cultural and spiritual importance of the Ram temple.

The journey towards the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya has been long and contentious, dating back over a century. The Supreme Court’s historic verdict in 2019 paved the way for the construction of the temple, settling a decades-old dispute. The ruling mandated the allocation of an alternative five-acre plot for a mosque in the Hindu holy town.
The Sri Ram Janambhoomi Trust has made extensive preparations for the grand event, expecting lakhs of devotees to participate. Vedic rituals for the Pran-Pratishtha ceremony will commence on January 16, a week before the main ceremony. Renowned priest Lakshmi Kant Dixit from Varanasi will lead the rituals on January 22, marking a momentous occasion in Ayodhya’s history.
