New Delhi, Dec 24 : Delhi Health Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj on Sunday ordered to constitute an enquiry committee to be headed by the Secretary of Health in connection with the incident related to alleged sexual harassment of outsourced workers at Burari hospital.
Bharadwaj directed strictest action against the sexual offenders.
The Health Minister expressed his displeasure over the Delhi Police action and asked Chief Secretary (CS) to ensure strict action by the Police, an official communique said.
“Such incidents cannot be tolerated in any situation,” Bharadwaj said.
Bharadwaj called for prompt investigation and solicited preliminary reports in 24 hours and a final report within a week.
He also sought action taken report in six hours from the Chief Secretary, it said.
