Bhubaneswar, Oct 11 : In a shocking incident, one person died due to asphyxiation and two others admitted to hospital in a critical condition when they were trying to rescue a pet cat from an open well under Patia police station area in the capital city Bhubaneswar on Wednesday.

Sources said a pet cat fell into the open well. Three persons jumped into the well to rescue the cat. The local people informed the fire brigade personnel after all the three failed to come out of the well.
The Fire Brigade personnel rescued all the three and rushed them to hospital. While one of the three persons died of asphyxiation and the rest are undergoing treatment .
