Odisha: Crocodile of Brahmani River Drags Minor Boy to Death in Cuttack Dist
Cuttack: In a shocking incident, a crocodile dragged away a minor boy into the Bramhani River near Nimpur in Pattamundai of Odisha’s Cuttack district
The ill-fated boy was dragged away into the Brahmani river by the crocodile. Later the mutilated body of the victim was recovered from the river by the local fishermen.
The deceased has been identified as Asutosh Acharya, a 10-year-old boy from Nimpur.
According to sources, he went near the Bramhani River on Wednesday morning for the toilet. During his time, a crocodile dragged him from the back side into the river. He went missing in the river earlier. However, the locals fished out his mutilated body from the river later.
A similar incident also occurred in Bihar’s Vaishali, where a 14-year-old boy was killed by a crocodile of the Ganges. The locals, however, captured the crocodile and beat it to death.
