Bhubaneswar : In an outrage against the new guidelines on social functions, all Odisha Catering Services, Tent House & Flower Association staged a protest in front of the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) office and blocked the main gate.
Demanding withdrawal of the BMC order that restricts the number of attendees in weddings, thread ceremonies and funerals to 50, the members of the association gheraoed the BMC office. The association members said that there are over 20 lakh families who make a living by rending their services in catering, tent, DJ Sound and Light across the State.
