Naveen Patnaik seeks performance report from May 22
BHUBANESWAR: With the BJD government would complete four years of its fifth successive term, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik would start performance review of various departments from May 22.
Patnaik today wrote to the ministers of his cabinet for the review which will continue till May 22. The government will complete four years of its fifth term on May 29.
The concerned ministers will review the work in presence of departmental secretaries and will apprise the Chief Minister of five major achievements.
“The BJD government will complete the four years of its 5th term in office on May 29. This is a proud moment for all of us. I congratulate all for this. We had gone to the 2019 elections with certain promises to our people. We have been working hard to win the confidence of people,” the Chief Minister said in his letter to the ministers.
“We have fulfilled many of our promises in these four years. This has vindicated our claims that we believe in work not word. I will review the functioning of each department in the presence of the departmental secretaries from May 22. Each department is requested to apprise me the implementation of its five important programmes during the review meetings,” added the letter.
The ministers will also apprise the Chief Minister regarding the implementation of 5T and Mo Sarkar principles in their respective departments, sources said.
