The Effect Of Kalabaisakhi Will Last For 2 More Days

Bhubaneswar: The effect of Kala Baisakhi is continuing. The state has received a slight chill in the air. There has been a change in the weather. The day temperature has dropped by 2 to 3 degrees.
Except for Boudh, the day temperature has dropped below 40 degrees in all cities of the state. The sky is cloudy in most places and rainfall has occurred in Koraput, Rayagada, Deogarh, Kalahandi districts. Koraput district received the highest rainfall of 30 mm, while Rayagada district recorded 27.4, Kolanara 21.3, and Rayagada 17.8 mm.
Thunderstorms with lightning are likely in 25 districts of the state today. Similarly, the effect of Kalabaisakhi will be felt in coastal Odisha on the 11th and 12th and the weather may change from the 13th, the regional meteorological centre has predicted. The weather department has informed about the possibility of Kalabaisakhi rain for two more days.
