Ganjam, October 22 : The murder case of lawyer Pitavas Panda has created a stir in the Ganjam political scene. In this case, the police have arrested former MLA and Ganjam district BJD president Vikram Panda.
According to sources, the police had detained Vikram Panda since last night. Based on the information and evidence obtained after interrogation, the police have confirmed their involvement in this allegation, and have arrested Vikram along with 7 others.
The police said that the case is serious and a high-level investigation is underway. For this, more police have been deployed in the Baidyanathpur police station area. 4 police stations and 2 SDPOs are jointly involved in the investigation.
