Bhubaneswar: Sujeet Kumar has resigned from Rajya Sabha and BJD after Mamata Mohanta. Two of them have already involved in BJP camp. However, the BJP has once again placed someone in that position. It means that the party has already sent Mamata Mohanta to the Delhi in the Rajya Sabha elections.
In such a situation, what will happen to Sujeet Kumar’s fate, there is a lot of discussion about him. Because like Mamata, the discussion is going on whether to send Sujeet to the Rajya Sabha again or to replace him with other senior members of the party.
In this way, some senior leaders like State BJP president Manmohan Samal, Sameer Mohanty and Sameer Dash were in the race to go to the Rajya Sabha along with Mamata Mohanta. But the BJP beat them back and sent Mamata.
But this time there is uncertainty about the same situation in Sujeet Kumar’s case. According to sporces, it is said that BJP can play some big games. Bharatiya Janata Party might thinking of sending not Sujeet but Manmohan Samal to Delhi. Since Manmohan’s contribution during the elections was substantial and he played a vital role in the party’s victory, there is intense lobbying within the party to reinstate him. Something like this is being discussed in the party office. So Manmohan is more likely to go to Rajya Sabha instead of Sujeet Kumar.
It means that if he does not get any advantage in politics, then he can choose his profession as he is currently practicing as an advocate in courts like Odisha High Court, Apex Court.
