Balasore: Junior clerk is in the vigilance scanner. Investigation is on process aganist the DEO junior clerk Pradeep Das. Raids are going on in 6 places on charges of evasion of non-revenue assets. This raid is going on with the permission of the Special Vigilance Judge of Balasore.
The vigilance team is raiding in three-storeyed house in Balasore, Sergarh, market complex and paternal house in Khantapada are going on. The houses of two relatives in Khantapada and Nilagiris are also being raided. The DEO officer junior clerk, was accused of misappropriating assets.
Vigilance is reported to have raided his house this morning after investigating the incident. Vigilance has also raided the office in the area of the District Collector’s office. Two additional SPs, 4 DSPs, 7 inspectors, 5 ASIs and other vigilance personnel are involved in raid.
