Successful Implementation Of Govt Schemes Rests In The Hands Of The District Collectors: CM Majhi

Bhubaneswar: The development of a state lies in the hands of collectors. This is said by the CM of Odisha. On the occasion of District Collector meeting Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has addressed the conference of the District Collectors of 30 districts at Lok Seva Bhavan. In his speech he said it is the responsibility of the District Collector to deliver the government’s plan to the grassroots level. The District Collector is the main bridge between the government and the people.

People’s problems are resolved with the District Collector. Successful implementation of government schemes rests in the hands of the District Collector. The Chief Minister said that the poverty will be removed from Odisha if the government scheme is implemented as per the plan.

In addition to this, he added that if there is a delay in the improvement work, corruption occurs, so the District Magistrates of all districts should keep an eye on it. Monitor performance improvement through quarterly reviews. The most important thing is that the Chief Minister said that corruption will not be tolerated, Mohan Majhi has asked the District Collector to check the corruption in the previous government and take sure action. Along with this, the Chief Minister advised the district officials to visit the field and go to the police stations and educational institutions to take action if they find any deviations. Similarly, he suggested taking action based on the complaints received in the media and social media.

For the first time after coming to power, the state government has held a meeting with all district officials.
