Farmer Lost Over 1 Lakh Rs Unknowingly From Account; Complaint Filed Against Bank Officials

Kendrapara: Farmer lost more than one lakh rupees unknowingly from bank account. Complaints against the bank secretary and manager have been filed. Such fatal allegations have come in the name of Cuttack Center Cooperative Bank of Kendrapara district. 

Reportedly 1 lakh 59 thousand rupees were withdrawn from the deposit account without the farmer’s knowledge.

The farmer Dharindhar Naik of Patuli village has complained that money was withdrawn from the deposit account. He borrowed 1 lakh 59 thousand rupees from Varuna Primary Agricultural Cooperative a few days ago. The money was credited to his deposit account at the Rajkanika branch of the Cuttack Center Co-operative Bank.

But when he went to the bank to withdraw the money, he found that the money had been withdrawn from the deposit account. However, after asking the branch manager, he could not give a satisfactory answer. After that the farmer filed a complaint against the officials in Rajkanika police station.
