As soon as winter arrives, different types of parathas start being made in homes. People especially eat parathas made of bathua, fenugreek, cabbage and radish in winter. As tasty as radish parathas are to eat, they seem equally difficult to make. While rolling radish parathas, the stuffing comes out from the side. That’s why people make less radish parathas. Today we are telling you a very easy trick to make radish parathas. With this you can easily make big radish parathas and eat them. In this way the radish parathas will never tear and will become perfectly round parathas. Know the recipe for making radish paratha.
Recipe to make Mooli Paratha:
First step- First of all, peel the radish and grate it. Now squeeze out the water from the radish by pressing it with hand. Put 1 spoon mustard oil in a pan and heat it. Add cumin, asafoetida and a little pinch of turmeric to the oil. Now prepare spicy stuffing by adding grated radish, salt, coriander powder, green chilli and finely chopped green coriander, red chilli powder.
Second step- To make radish parathas, knead soft wheat flour and keep the dough to set for some time. Be sure to add some salt to the flour. Now take 1 small ball of dough and roll it into a thin roti. Keep this roti aside. Keep in mind that the roti should be very thin and slightly small. Similarly, roll the second roti also.
Third step- Now place the prepared radish stuffing on the roti which is on the rolling board. You can keep more or less stuffing as per your choice. Now place the second roti that was prepared by rolling it on top. Close the edges by pressing them with your hands. Now apply dry flour and roll both the stuck rotis and make them a little bigger.
Fourth step- Put the radish paratha on the pan, apply ghee on both the sides and roll it till golden. Make all the radish parathas in the same manner. With this trick, radish parathas will never burst and will be very big. Eat the prepared stuffed radish paratha with chutney or sauce.
