Keonjhar: The Vigilance Department has been raiding the Keonjhar Jail Superintendent’s house on Friday on charges of misappropriation of assets.
The Vigilance Department raided the residence of District Head Jail Superintendent or Superintendent Satya Prakash Swain at the Keonjhar government residence including Bhubaneswar simultaneously at six places.
Raids are also going on at Keonjhar office and government residence, own residence and father-in-law’s house in Lakshmi Sagar, Jagmara residence, old quarter of Jharpada Jail and Bhadrak’s father’s house.
The local vigilance team arrived at Keonjhar Jail this morning and started the investigation. Local unit DSP Sudshanshu Pujari said that the total assets will be known after the inspection.
