Bhubaneswar: A big announcement by the state government for working women. 12 days leave for menstruation now instead of one day. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has ordered to increase the additional leave to 12 days for women employees.
Women employees can get this additional leave along with existing 10 days of Casual Leave (CL) and 5 days of Special Casual Leave (CL).
These 12 days additional casual leave they can avail one day per month.
This additional leave has been granted due to women’s menstruation.
