Puri: Five warships of the Navy have camped on Puri beach on Saturday. All these warships are floating on the beach near Digabareni. According to the information, Naval Day was celebrated in Puri like every year and the preliminary survey was conducted today.
While preparations were being made for the Navy Day, Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi and other officers were seen taking stock of the situation. A Navy rescue ship including warships like INS Jalashwa, INS Kiltan, INS Sumedha was involved in the preparation.
It seems that the Navy chief visited the Puri coast on Saturday and discussed with the district administration regarding the celebration of the Navy Day.
