Gang-Rape Of Minor In OYO, Police Arrested 4 Accused From Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Shame in Bhubaneswar. Four youths gang-raped a minor girl in an OYO hotel. They also threatened to make the video of the rape viral and took Rs 62,000 from the victim and her mother.

Following the complaint in this regard, the Nayapali police station has arrested four accused. The four accused are Deepak Behera (19) of Niladri Vihar, Prakash Behera (21) of Shailashree Vihar, Raja Patnaik (19) of Daruthenga and Pappu Dwivedi (23) of Old Town area.

According to reports, the victim lives in a slum in Nayapali area. Raja Patnaik of Daruthenga tied her up in a rope and had sex with her. After that, on October 16, Raja took the victim to Buddha Park in Chandrashekharpur Niladri Vihar. There, Raja drugged her with soft drinks and took her to an OYO hotel some distance away. Raja called his three other accomplices to the said OYO hotel. That night, Raja and the others raped her one by one in the said hotel room and recorded a video.

Later, they sent the said video to the victim’s mother and took Rs 62,000 by threatening her. Later, with the help of her mother, the victim moved towards the Nayapali police station on October 30. The police registered a case and started investigation. In which the police succeeded in arresting the said four accused.
