Bhubaneswar: 5 policemen suspended in case of abuse of Major and his fiance in Bharatpur police station will undergo polygraph test. While the court has allowed the polygraph test of the previously suspended IIC Dinkrushna Mishra. The crime branch has applied to the Bhubaneswar SDJM court for the polygraph test of the other 4 suspended policemen today.
However, the court had given a green signal for the polygraph test of suspended IIC Dinkrishna Mishra previously. Therefore, Dinkrishna will be taken to Gandhinagar Crime Branch in Gujarat where he will be subjected to polygraph test, narco analysis and brain fingerprinting test. Now an application has been made for the polygraph test of 4 more police officers who have been suspended for their involvement in this case.
The crime branch team is investigating the incident after the incident of torture given to Major and his fiancé in Bharatpur police station on 14th Sep night. Earlier, the crime branch interrogated Dinakrushna along with 4 other police officers. Later, the court granted permission for the polygraph test of Dinakrushna after the Crime Branch applied to the SDJM court yesterday.
