Jaleswar: The 8-hour bandh call by the Jaleshwar Youth Students’on Monday in support of their demand for the creation of a separate Jaleshwar Sub-Division. The bandh is effective from 7.00 am to 3 pm today.
All government offices, business establishments, and educational institutions remained closed, while public transport vehicles were off the road creating immense problems for the locals.
Stating that the bandh call was given in the interest of all the residents of Jaleshwar, the Jaleshwar Youth Students’ Organisation has appealed to all to support the shutdown.
