Viral Bihar boy Amarjeet Jaikar gives a Bhojpuri twist to Ali Sethi’s Pasoori; Internet Loves It
Unless you have been living under a rock, you will probably know of the singing sensation from Bihar Amarjeet Jaikar. He became popular overnight after a video of him singing Dil De Diya Hai went crazy viral online.
‘Pasoori’ made waves across the globe when it was released in February 2022. The beautiful song, crooned by Ali Sethi and Shae Gill was widely appreciated for its visual appeal, melodious music, and soulful lyrics. It’s been more than a year since its release, but the craze of ‘Pasoori’ is far from over.
Now, internet sensation Amarjeet has come up with the Bhojpuri version of ‘Pasoori.’ Mr Jaikar shared the video on his Twitter profile on Thursday and captioned it “Pasoori bhojpuri version shayad accha lagega kuch alg sa likha hu aur gaaya hu” (Could feel good, wrote differently and sang differently too).
“Pasoori bhojpuri version shayad accha lagega kuch alg sa likha hu aur gaaya hu (I think you guys will like it, I have written something different and sang it differently as well),” he captioned the video.

The video opens to show the artist recording the chartbuster song in a studio. While maintaining the rhythm and music, he incorporates Bhojpuri lyrics into the song. As he sings the song, he can also be seen performing gestures and movements with his hands.
Since it was shared on Thursday, the video has garnered more than 1.3 lakh views, 5,507 likes and more than 500 retweets. Users loved the playback and dropped praise and heart emojis to express their admiration
Everybody praised his singing skills in the comments section. “Best performance,” a user wrote. The comments section was replete with words like “superb”, “brilliant” and “fantastic”.
