Bhubaneswar, Aug 31 : The monsoon session of Odisha Legislative Assembly will commence on September 21 and will continue till October 4 next.
Odisha Finance Minister Bikram Keshari Aarulk will present the supplementary budget on October 3.
Prior to the monsoon session of the Assembly, the new Speaker of the house will likely be elected as the Speaker post is lying vacant since May 12 last after the then Speaker Bikram Keshari Aarukh resigned from the post and subsequently inducted into the council of ministers.
Presently Deputy Speaker Rajani Kanta Singh is the acting Speaker of the Assembly.
