Two Hornbills Engaged In Mid-Air Duel Wins The Internet
Hornbills are the magnificent birds with long and down-curved beaks flying across the world.
An Indian administrative services officer, Supriya Sahu, who works as Additional Chief Secretary for Environment, Climate Change, and Forests, Government of Tamil Nadu, has shared an interesting video that is getting a lot of traction on Twitter.
Her shares never fail to amaze people and also leave them stunned. Case in point her recent share about hornbills. In her post, while sharing about the birds she also posted a video that shows two creatures engaged in an “aggressive” battle.

The post has two parts: a photo and a video, both of which show two vivid, yellow-and-black birds perched on a tree taking off and engaging in aerial combat.The image and the video were both captured by professional photographer K. A. Dhanuparan, who also won an award for these extraordinary visuals.
She shared the post with a caption that reads, “Hundreds of Great Hornbills congregate in Nelliyampathy and Valparai regions in Tamil Nadu every year. Since being shared a day ago, the video has accumulated more than 17,000 views and counting. Additionally, the tweet has received nearly 1,100 likes. People posted various comments while reacting to the video. Some voiced their confusion and shared that Nelliyampathy is located in Kerala. However, these hills are situated in the Tamil Nadu – Kerala border sharing spaces in both the states.
