Weather Update: Thunderstorm & Lightning Warning For 8 Districts; IMD

Bhubaneswar: The IMD has predicted light to moderate rain or thunderstorm to occur at a few places over Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Nawarangpur, Ganjam, Gajapati and at one or two places over the rest districts of coastal Odisha, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nuapada, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, and dry weather over the rest of Odisha.

Similarly, thunderstorm with lightening is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Nabarangpur, Gajapati, Ganjam, Kandhamal, and Mayurbhanj. The maximum temperature (Day temperature) is very likely to rise gradually by 2 to 4 degrees at many places across the State during the next 3 days and no large change thereafter, the IMD stated.
