It should be more than mere grilling for over-pushing their profiles in the media. This is about some of the so called celluloid celebrities who go overboard often to gain some mileage.
And that is what the sordid example they set for the youngsters who try to ape those stars of the tinsel word.
The most recent case being that of actor Ranveer Singh who posed naked for photo shoot, circulating it in several platforms and now he was in the police station getting grilled for the act, highly objectionable under the Nudity Act.
Ranveer has been booked under the Indian Penal Code Section 292, 293, 509 and the IT Act. Besides in the Indian media, his nude pic got some good coverage in foreign media houses as well.
Women activist and NGO, Vadika Chaube had lodged the complaint for violating the Acts , just for self-aggrandizement or anything else.
What is further sad that the police team who grilled Singh was tight-lipped over his statements before the police.
But, the bigger question is, what purpose these filmy heroes and heroines have in highlighting such stuffs those can at the least be described as absurd.
Some of them even had shared pictures and videos of a party at a director’s place enjoying being stoned after possible doses of addictives. Which later came to public domain during a probe.
Once in a while, such celebs should make use of the wisdom caps.
